CBD: What Does It Do?
One of the main questions we get is, "What does CBD actually do?" and that can a tough question to answer. Unfortunately, some are looking for a solution without any lifestyle change aside from drinking a liquid or taking a pill, and that doesn't exist. Change and healing are possible in many situations, but it will take consistent hard work.
However, CBD can help you better handle the work.
How Can CBD Help Me?
CBD isn't a "cure all," but it does provide aid in many of our bodies natural processes.
CBD, like other cannabinoids, helps support our endocannabinoid system. This system is extremely important, as it regulates our appetite & digestion, sleep, stress & anxiety response, inflammation & chronic pain response, reproductive system function - just to name a few.
These functions all contribute to homeostasis of our bodies, which refers to the stability of our internal environments. For example, if an outside force, like pain from an injury or sickness, throws off your body’s homeostasis, your ECS will kick in and help your body return to its ideal operation. It quite literally helps your body recover and heal from any and everything.
CBD And A Healthy Lifestyle
When eating healthily, our bodies have access to its needed nutrients, allowing our bodies to function in a smoother, more productive way.
Our minds are clearer, our energy is more readily available. It's amazing what a clean diet can do for us. Food truly is the first line of medicine. I'll happily recommend someone to spend their money eating delicious, nutrient-packed meals rather than purchasing CBD from us. CBD simply cannot replace proper nutrients and their sources.
Exercise also plays a massive role in a healthy lifestyle. Consistent movement is proven to promote growth, and pushing our personal limits is the only way to grow. This also comes with sore, stiff muscles which can hinder our performance. Proper nutrition is key here in order for our bodies to heal and rebuild. CBD, which helps regulate the inflammatory & pain response, can help shorten recovery times. Here's a link to a quick read from nutrition expert Shawn Talbott, PhD. It touches on Chronic Inflammation and some of the effects it can have.
Overall, CBD should be thought of as an addition to a healthy lifestyle, another piece to the puzzle of wellness. Research is piling up, suggesting that it's quite a large piece!
Bottom line: There Is Hope!
If you're looking for an easy fix, it just doesn't exist. Any improvement in life takes work, and CBD won't change that. It can, however, help your mind and body run smoother while you're doing the work to improve!
If you're looking for something to help with pain relief, muscle relaxation, mood improvement, better digestion, insomnia relief, and more - CBD may be exactly what you are looking for. —Phil, Founder/CEO Don't forget to sign up for our monthly newsletter!
